Other Policies

Accessibility

Heritage Village is a historic site encompassing 10 acres of land containing buildings built in the mid 19th century before the Americans with Disability Act. Care has been taken to keep the site pristine, and our roads and paths reflect this time period. Guests coming to Heritage Village with limitations to their mobility can expect to encounter mostly caliche roads, bare earth, and crushed granite pathways that may make it  hard to traverse (but not impossible!)

Accepted Forms of Payment

Shops in our Marketplatz are run by independent owners who choose which forms of payment they wish to accept. In general, merchandise shops accept credit cards as do the bars and food merchants. we do not currently have an atm on site, but there are many businesses surrounding us that do.

Camping

Because  of the small size and delicate nature of our historic site, onsite camping is limited to a small group of volunteers approved by the leadership of our hosts, the Heritage Society of New Braunfels. New Braunfels Renfaire does not own this property so camping is highly regulated by our hosts.

If you have any questions that you have not been able to discover the answers to on our website, please feel free to post them on our Facebook page or email info@nbrenfaire.com

Good afternoon lords ladies, vassals and peasantry. Within the past fortnight we have received numerous communiques from merrymakers inquiring about festival costuming  and whether we want you to dress for the event. By royal decree let it be known that all manner of garb is welcome at the New Braunfels Renaissance Faire and that we do not discriminate for good or ill, your choices for faire garb.
